Despite the initial delay, our 2012 Bible reading program is now available. It may be downloaded below or picked up at the resource center. Thank you for continuing to feed your roots with prayer and the Word.
13 Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God's Word and life's experiences], … 18 She is a tree of life to those who lay hold on her; and happy (blessed, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who holds her fast.- Proverbs 3:13, 18 |

Just a reminder that there will be no service this Sunday, Christmas Day. Everyone is encouraged to spend time with family in prayer and sharing the biblical account of Jesus' birth. To prioritize the Lord above all else only seems fitting when celebrating his birthday.
Additionally, the Wednesday service on December 28 has been canceled in lieu of Holiday Youth Convention, once again held at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn. The Hyatt Regency is located at 600 Town Center Dr, Dearborn, MI 48126 and pre-service Wednesday begins at 7:00p with service starting at 7:30p. It will be a wonderful time in the Spirit for all who can join our young people in Dearborn.
We will see everyone again at our New Year's Eve service, commencing at 8:00p and to be followed by a potluck fellowship at 10:30p. We look forward to the vision Pastor Walker will cast and all that the Lord has in store for Faith Apostolic Church in 2012. |

Monday, September 12 is our annual blood drive for the American Red Cross.
Appointments may be scheduled between 12:30p - 6:30p by contacting Michelle Leismer in advance, but walk-ins are always welcome.
There is currently a great area need for donors and this is a wonderful way to serve our community.
"The life of the flesh is in the blood...(Leviticus 17:11)," so thank you in advance for your gift of life to someone in need! |

Beginning with the first Sunday service in September and running through the end of 2011, Faith Apostolic Church will not hold a Sunday evening service. This trial basis is to enable the "2 for 4" evangelism initiative, in which members are encouraged to give 2 of the 4 now-available Sunday evenings to reaching out to their local communities and circle of friends.
Our Sunday morning format changes slightly, with Sunday School now beginning at 9:45 am; the main sanctuary will see pre-service prayer at that time, followed by the adult Sunday School at 10:00 am. Our worship service will now launch at 11:00 am. Please feel free to join our webcast at these new times. |
