Ladies Ministries

Our Goal:  To provide a place for women where we can learn to excel in our service to God and each other—giving our best to Him in all areas of our lives.

Ladies Ministries allows the women of FACT to develop and use our God-given abilities to minister to our community, church, family and friends.  It is also a tremendous resource in our own times of need.  Here, women are matched with their areas of expertise and giftedness--unlocking their potential and helping them achieve greater fulfillment in life through ministry to others.

Ladies Ministries is divided into six areas:

¨      Ministry of Outreach

We reach out to others through organized gatherings such as our annual spring banquet and autumn tea, as well as organizing and participating in Troy’s National Day of Prayer observation.

¨      Ministry to the Saints

Ladies minister to others during times of both sorrow and joy.  We provide groceries to those struggling financially and individual meals for families who suffer death and illness.  We provide a comfortable place to hold bridal and baby showers as well as funeral dinners.

¨      Ministry of Exchange

This ministry involves the raising of funds through one or two major events each year.  One of our most popular events is our annual rummage sale.  It helps us to support the national “Mother’s Memorial Offering” and the “Adopted Missionary Offering,” as well as sponsor foreign Bible school students.

¨      Ministry of Helps

Maintenance of our church facility and campus is assisted by the Ministry of Helps.

¨      Ministry to the Ministry

We appreciate our leadership, and this ministry involves honoring them with gifts and remembrances on special days such as birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas.

¨      Ministry of Administration

This ministry communicates information about local and national events to those that need it.

Ladies Ministries is about everyone having a place to minister.  Accordingly, if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth  (I Peter 4:10).
